Funding

Construction Skills Queensland provides reimbursement to individuals and employers against some of the costs of training and assessment associated with acquiring a licence. The program includes prescribed occupations (such as forklift operation) as well as relevant competencies towards plumbing, electrical trades and plastic welding.

 

Funding up to a maximum of $1000 is available for all prescribed occupations.

 Conditions:

-Training must be paid and completed between 1 july 2011 to 31 March 2012. Training that has been paid for or completed after this date will not be eligible.

-All eligible claims must be submitted to Construction Skills QLD before 5pm 30th April 2012. Claims received after this date will not be accepted.
